Only visited the other side where the beach is. Great walk either through the wood, along the dunes ir along the beach. Quite a few seats dotted around so you can admire the views. Have to pay to park. Great place to take the dogs. Visitor centre serving coffee at entrance to walks.

I took my 80 year old mum to see the Christmas lights. Driving all the way from Newcastle I picked her up close by and we had a wonderful evening. The house looked great and there was hardly anyone there. A special night, thank you everyone who made us welcome.

As a recommended Norfolk wedding photographer at Holkham Hall, I’m always thrilled to capture celebrations at this breathtaking venue. The immaculate grounds offer endless photo opportunities (with luck some deer may even make an appearance). The staff are truly exceptional—warm, professional, and dedicated to ensuring every detail is flawless. The food is equally impressive, locally sourced and beautifully presented.
Holkham Hall is a dream venue where elegance meets hospitality and I have no hesitation recommending them to any couple looking for an elevated wedding experience.

We were having a great visit until they closed the play area at 4pm. We were not made aware of any closing times when we entered at around 2pm. We were walking up to the park at 4pm but the car park attendant was already ushering a family out and told us we couldn’t enter. He then got on a moped and went 🤷♂️

Beautiful estate. Grounds maintained to a high standard. Easily while a way the whole day ambling around the estate. Large amounts of fallow deer grazing everywhere. Great place for the whole family.

The Christmas market was busy. Food was good in the cafe, also busy, at lunchtime. Parked in car park before entrance gate. Walked to house from there. Cheaper aswell.

Stunning grounds, and lovely to see the deer. Great for walks.
We went recently for the Christmas market, we didn’t realise it would be so busy and it took us an hour queuing in the car to get in. Parking was £10. Would have been better as a ticketed event to reduce crowd numbers. It was far too crowded, but did have an excellent selection of stalls except not many crafts stalls.

Paid £6 to the parking attendant to park, she failed to mention the hall was shut today for Santa. So no candlelight tour, a wasted journey and £6 I won’t get back.
